What enforcement action you can expect if you are:

•managing an occupied higher-risk building as an accountable person and are not meeting your duties to manage building safety risk

•a client, designer or contractor and are not meeting your legal duties to comply with building regulation for higher-risk building construction or work, including refurbishment

•a building control body or registered building inspector and are not meeting professional conduct rules or operational standards rules

Section 1 is for duty holders for higher-risk building management or construction. For management, this is any accountable person. For construction and building work, this is when you get building control approval from BSR.

Section 2 is for local authorities, registered building control approvers or registered building inspectors.
