Source page 1

The transitional period for the Approved Inspector regime ended on 1 October 2024. The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) now oversees building control bodies and registered building inspectors.

CICAIR’s Approved Inspector register no longer exists. Sanctions against Approved Inspectors who are now registered building control approvers (RBCAs) will remain on this page until their expiry.

You can contact BSR if you:

have questions about how BSR oversees the building control profession

want to raise a concern about an RBCA or registered building inspector

All references in the documents to CICAIR should be read as BSR.
