The investigation procedure statement sets out how the Building Safety Regulator conducts investigations into the building control profession. This procedure covers investigations into:

professional misconduct for registered building inspectors (RBIs)

contravention of the professional conduct rules for registered building control approvers (RBCAs)

contravention of the operational standards rules for RBCAs and local authorities (LAs)
