The full conditions, in plain English
No small print. If something here isn't clear, ask us before you sign and we'll put the answer in writing.
You must have a current, paid specification software contract.
The offer is for practices moving from another specification software subscription. Your contract must still be running on the day you sign up to Avoice.
Lapsed, expired or free accounts don't qualify. Already given notice? You still qualify for the months left.Show us your contract end date.
Your latest invoice from your current provider, or a screenshot of your account, showing when your current term ends. Black out prices and anything else you'd rather not share. We only use the date, to work out your free months.
We only need the end date. You commit to an annual Avoice plan when you sign up.
The offer only applies to a 12-month plan. It isn't available on monthly plans.
Annual plan = 12 paid months.Free months are the whole months left on your current contract, up to 12.
We count whole calendar months from your Avoice start date to your current contract end date. Part months round down. The most you can get is 12 free months.
5 months 20 days left = 5 free months.Renewing within 90 days? We count from the renewed term.
If your current renewal date is within 90 days of signing up to Avoice and your contract renews, we count your free months to the end of the renewed term, up to 12, once you show us the renewal.
Renewal within 90 days = up to 12 free months.Your 12 paid months start after the free months end.
Your first invoice is dated the day after your last free month. Free months are added to the front of your plan; they don't come out of the 12 paid months.
4 free months + 12 paid = 16 months of Avoice. It covers the plan and seats you sign up with.
Seats or upgrades you add during the free months are charged at the normal rate from the day you add them.
Extra seats aren't free. It's agreed at sign-up only.
The offer can't be added to an existing Avoice subscription or applied later. If you start with a paid pilot, the pilot is charged at the normal fee and the offer applies when you convert to an annual plan.
Ask for it before you sign. One offer per practice, and no cash value.
Free months can't be exchanged for money or credit, or moved to another practice. If you end the plan early, the annual commitment still applies.
The 12-month commitment stands. We can change or end the offer for new sign-ups.
The terms in your signed order form are the ones that apply to you, even if this page changes later.
Your order form wins.
Four steps to switch
- 1
Short call
We look at how you write specs today, your sectors, and when your current contract ends.
- 2
Bring your own standards
Send your practice's own masters and standard wording. Avoice learns your preferred clauses and how your practice writes.
- 3
First live spec
Write a spec on a real project with us alongside, in CAWS or Uniclass, drafted from your drawings.
- 4
Let the old contract run out
Finish anything mid-issue in your current tool until its contract ends. You aren't paying for both.
Before you switch
My renewal is this week. Is it too late?
No. If your current contract renews, we count your free months to the end of the renewed term, up to 12. If it doesn't, your free months are the whole months left. Book a call and tell us the date.
When do I need to give notice?
That depends on your current contract. Check your order form for your renewal date and any notice period. If you're unsure, ask your provider directly.
What happens to projects already in my current tool?
Finish them there while your contract runs. Start new projects in Avoice. Because Avoice is free during that time, you aren't paying twice.
Do CAWS numbering and our office masters carry over?
Avoice writes in CAWS and Uniclass and can use your office masters as a starting point for new projects. We will check how your numbering carries over on the first call.
Does everyone in the practice need a paid seat?
No. Seats are for the people who write specs. We will confirm what everyone else can access when we price your practice.
We just renewed. Should we wait a year?
You don't need to. Switch now and Avoice is free for the whole months left on your current term, up to 12, on an annual plan.
